550 MULTIUSE is used for specific applications on industrial tractors, backhoes, excavators, sprayers, tractors for the maintenance of urban areas and compact construction machines. Thanks to its versatile tread design, this tyre can be used in agricultural applications. Specific block tread design enables high performances on snow-covered terrains as well as on sandy soils. The basic directional design, divided by separate blocks, provides a good grip on soft surfaces. In addition, high number of blocks and rubber to void tread ratio, enables a long tread wear life and low rolling resistances during transport operation on hard surfaces. Uniform ground pressure distribution and tread wear are provided by the steel belted carcass structure. Also, steel belts provide the most efficient puncture protection.
